Application:
Stagnant or residual water in a construction site can become a breeding ground for harmful mosquitoes, and various disease-causing microbes which can be transported through contaminated water to humans and animals and cause water-borne diseases. In a mining site, this can also become a safety hazard as it can cause the ground to become unstable.
With Tsurumi’s LSC pump puddle sucker, its design can drain down up to 1mm water level making it an ideal pump for Stagnant or residual water.
Tsurumi’s LSC pump has a swing check valve that prevents reverse-flow of the sucked water when the pump stops its operation. Though the pump is a single-phase unit, it has the durability equivalent to three-phase drainage pumps, since the wear parts are made of abrasion-resistant materials. The top discharge, flow-thru design provides maximum motor cooling efficiency allowing continuous operation at low water levels and extended dry-run capability. The discharge direction is selectable between vertical and inclined, which prevents folding or bending of the discharge hose. The rubber-lined base plate protects the floor surface from scratching. With a compact and lightweight design, these pumps provide excellent portability. Also, because they run on a single-phase power supply, these pumps are easy to handle. Various types of pumps are available in our product lineup: some models can drain water to a minimum level of 1 mm, while others are equipped with a water reverse-flow preventing mechanism or a suction attachment. These pumps are suitable for draining shallow standing water, for example, draining water on the floor of construction sites, pits, water collection/feed tanks and small puddles.
